Hotel Elda


I love when my job consists of spending a day at the mountain, taking pictures in a beautiful place, eating good food, talking to lovely people and eating some more good food.
This is Hotel Elda, and now I know bioarchitecture is something I'm really impressed with.

there are days in which I love to be me (when I have to move giant boxes around for 8 hours, it's a little less appealing... but I like to think about the good thing;))

ti sei portata dietro qualche attrezzatura per le foto agli interni (parlo di luci e compagnia bella), o era tutto così meravigliosamente luminoso?

entrambe le cose: la luce naturale era meravigliosa, per cui ho cercato di interferire il meno possibile con i flash. Ma senza flashsarebbe venuto o tutto in controluce o tutto bruciato.
Per cui bisogna mettere i flash, ma poi usare tempi piu' lunghi per bilanciare con la luce ambiente. all'inizio e' un po' un casino, ma capito il meccanismo diventa piu' semplice.

i was wondering, and if it's personal i would understand (i get so many "too personal" questions about my jobs sometimes)
how did you get noticed on the internet? I've gotten several photography jobs now just because i'm somewhat popular on flickr.com, but i know that has limitations.
i can't imagine how people find out about you just through your website since they'd have to be directed there first, so i guess it's one job leading to the next a lot of the time? word of mouth and mentions in crediting?

any good pointers on this would be much appreciated. it seems like such a scary thing to try and depend on photography as a career sometimes.

anyway, you're amazing. i can see why you're doing so well with it all! <3
